*growls* Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. My husband may (it's not very likely, but still a possibility) lose his job - I look like having a peach of a b-day.

Therefore, I am literally begging - if anyone has any spare cash, please, please, please commission me. Even the smallest amount of extra money I can put into saving until we know what's happening, the better.

Now, good stuff.

I have the snazziest victoriana/steampunk outfit - I'm just waiting for the final piece to arrive, before photos will be taken.

Second, I finally got around to getting the piercing on the shell of my ear that needed to be re-done done. Originally, when I got it done, my hair some how got itself badly caught on the ring, so I had to take t out to get the curl off it. The stud I but in to keep it open had a way thinner bar then most things, so the hole closed up slightly. I've a barbell through it now, so my hair can't get caught as easily, and if it does, I can untangle it easier. I also got the other piercing I wanted done. That was a third hole in the other ear. So I've now one lobe piercing and one in the shell of my right ear, and three in a row going from the lobe up on my left ear. The newest is literally just into the cartilage.

Other good stuff - both my sisters are home from their holidays, so the girls' night in of movies and hilarity we're planning will be soon...and I can introduce my sisters to both REPO (OK, that's a recent enough movie that didn't get cinema release in Ireland) and Labyrinth.

My hayfever's mostly gone - woot! I'm still coughing now and then, but that's all, and a post-nasal drip cough always takes a while to clear.

I also have a facebook account now - does anyone else have one?
